Daily realities: Living in Iraq is risky, to say the least. But there are some Christians who have gone to this risky place as missionaries to share the gospel with the near 100% Muslim population. There are some who live with the daily reality of Islamic State. Meet some such Christians here.
Church and burlesque? One Sydney church plant meets in an iconic venue in inner Sydney. “At 10:30 every Sunday morning, the believers gather in the burlesque club, sans lipstick and lace.” Adam Witanowski, the leader of White Horse Church says “Christianity is not about Sundays or real estate. I have met the girls at The Vanguard who perform, they are sweet, beautiful, intelligent women,” he says. “I don’t know their stories, why they do it, but I do know that Christian burlesque isn’t a thing.” Read more about the church plant here.
