This week in Christian music…
Particularly well known for his Christian music for kids, and his country music career, Colin Buchanan has become one of the best selling Christian artists in the land.
He recently recorded a “live to tape” collection of songs that he’s written or co-written over the past 20 years. It’s called The Songwriter Sessions and features performances with several Aussie artists including John Williamson and Troy Cassar Daley.
Colin says some of the songs on The Songwriter Sessions were written while being involved in a Christian community in Bourke, others like Songwriter and Karloo Blessing are expressions of his faith, while the rest are simply observations of what he sees through that lens.
