For those of us who perhaps donāt get the picture, an āemojiā is one of those cute little digital icons your friends useĀ to express an emotion in the digital world. Theyāre not happy, theyāreĀ š . Theyāre not sad, theyāre š¢ .

Eternity spoke to Bible Emojiās creator over Twitter, who identifies themselves asĀ šĀ . They prefer to remain anonymous āto keep the focus on the translation and the idea of adapting with our language.ā Though, they told Eternity theyād consider identifying themselves if the Pope said nice things about the translation. āThat would make my grandma happy,āĀ šĀ said.
āIām an emojiā¦ no race, no gender, no angle,āšĀ tells me when IĀ press them as to whether they are, perhaps, of the same millennial generation that the new translation is trying to reach.
āI think if we fast forward 100 years, an āemojiā Bible would exist, so we thought it would be fun to try and make it,āĀ šĀ says.
Reaction to the emoji Bible has been mixed: āSome very nice tweets, some very not nice, lol,ā the creator says.
š Ā says they hope Bible Emoji is a fun way to enter the Bible.
