Roy Williams examines the spiritual life of each of our Prime Ministers from Edmund Barton to Julia Gillard in his new book In God They Trust? published by Bible Society Australia. He explores the ways in which – for good and ill – their beliefs (or agnosticism) shaped the history and development of the nation. He spoke to Centre For Public Christianity about what got him started writing and how he went about putting the book together.
