SPCKA (Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge Australia) has announced its shortlist for the Australia Christian Book of the Year this morning:

The awards will be announced and prizes presented during a celebration supper on 8 August 2013 at St Alfred’s Anglican Church, North Blackburn, VIC. All entrants and book lovers are invited to attend.
Judging the awards this year are Alex Crawford, a practising barrister and secretary of the Mathew Hale Public Library, Mark Conner, Senior Minister at CityLIfe Church in Melbourne, and Alice Priest, religious educator and commentator.
