YouVersion, a Bible reading app created by American megachurch LifeChurch.tv, says 5 million Bible reading plans have been completed on the app since 2009.
Reading plans on YouVersion were launched in 2009 and the app has collated over 300 plans from popular Christians, churches and organisations all over the world, including a collection of reading plans from John Piper, Matt Redman, Joyce Meyer, and Christian band, Newboys.
Bible Society Australia added its 31-day Bible reading plan to the YouVersion app in September. To date, over 8,000 people have started the plan with the app.
According to YouVersion, 24 Bible reading plans are started every minute. See below for more statistics:
