NSW Christian leaders, politicians, lawyers and other community leaders are coming together today at 12.30pm (AEST) in a virtual rally urging the Premier to proclaim the NSW Modern Slavery Act now.
Reverend Kanishka Raffel (Anglican Dean of Sydney), Sister Nolene Simmons (Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans), Reverend Simon Hansford (Uniting Church NSW and ACT Moderator), Carolyn Kitto (Be Slavery Free) and others will join their efforts to encourage the NSW Premier to proclaim the Act by 1 January, 2021.

The Act was passed unanimously by both houses of parliament – two and a half years ago.
