When Eternity made our cover for our December print edition, we sadly thought the cover – urging prayer in the midst of bushfire – would be relevant into January. Sadly we were right and, even more tragically, that cover remains relevant today.
Like many Australians the fire has touched me pretty closely with a former high school teacher of mine and a partner of a friend killed. One of my former neighbours had a heart attack in the middle of evacuation.
The cover remains current in another sense as well. Eternity newspaper will be back in March, skipping February. We’re expanding in different directions with more daily online content and exciting news to come about podcasts. There will be more of them, and we are working on a YouTube channel.
See you soon,
John Sandeman, editor
