Next Thursday, 13 July 2023, Alexander Pappas will be in Sydney for a One Night Homecoming show to perform music from his two EPs, Idaho and American Dream.
Pappas will be supported by winner of The Voice 2021, Bella Taylor Smith, and Christian pop newcomer Charlotte Adelle.
American-born, Australian-raised Pappas, who may be best known as a worship leader of twice Grammy-nominated Hillsong Young & Free, has written some of the most iconic youth worship anthems such as Alive, Real Love, Wake and Echo (Elevation Worship). He has since expanded to produce Christian music for ‘Monday’ (rather than just for in church on Sunday). His sound brings together his alt-rock and pop influences, such as The Killers, Switchfoot and The 1975, leaning into storytelling about personal faith to inspire and encourage others.
Pappas has exciting plans for the rest of 2023, with a Live recording in the OC, close to the birthplace of the Jesus Revolution in September. The live recording event will be held in a tent crusade, lifting up the name of Jesus.
The unique gift of Colin Buchanan
The One Night Homecoming show will be at the Lady Hampshire, Camperdown, in the heart of Inner West Sydney, making it one of the few Christian live music gigs in the city. Pappas will perform with a full band, and you can expect a rock show experience. Pre-sale tickets are available and all are welcome to support Christian artists and have a great night.
