As companies around the world release their Christmas advertising campaigns, we went on the hunt for some videos we believe get more to the heart of the “reason for the season”.

The Really Good News of Christmas
Bible Society Australia’s 2017 Christmas video is a rhyming, animated journey through Bethlehem.
From the UK’s SpeakLife (previously The Hour of Revival), which offers evangelistic materials primarily for churches, is the new, four-part Christmas series Meet the Nativity. One episode is being released every week in December, in the lead up to Christmas.
Bible Society UK has released The Greatest Journey, a three-minute animated short that tells the Christmas story in a similar vein as the super-popular children’s book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
Also from Bible Society UK this year, a moving, 7-minute spoken word poem and original song called “Mary’s Song” which reflects on Mary’s journey to motherhood.

This video from 2015 has been watched more than 47 million times! From Southland Christian Church in Kentucky, in the United States, it did the rounds both in 2015 and 2016 in secular media because … well, it’s super cute.
