Stephen King’s famous bestseller about a demonic clown, IT, has returned to our screens. Strong promotions online and favourable reviews have helped to propel IT to the top of the world’s box office. Yes, the screen comeback of the killer clown – IT was a prominent TV miniseries in 1990 – is the most popular movie around.
While horror sideshows like IT might not be your cup of tea, the core issue of IT impacts us all. What we fear and what fear does to us is the fuel for IT, just as fear can invade so many corners of all our lives. But what is “it” that we should fear the most?
Something else to be afraid of during the school holidays…
