Established in 1817, Bible Society Australia (BSA) is the country’s longest-living organisation. We are part of the network of Bible Societies, one of the most extensive mission groups in the world, and do our work in partnership with churches, providing resources and Bible-focused campaigns and community programmes. BSA continues to create new ways to advocate for the Bible, to promote it and finding alternative avenues for engaging with its message.
The Board is now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer who will lead the organisation through a phase of growth as the organisation evolves to remain relevant and innovative in the ways in which the Word is spread and made accessible. Motivated by an active Christian faith, the CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership and bring a depth of commercial acumen. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience engaging with a breadth of stakeholders and be confident working in partnership with key stakeholder groups including churches and clergy across all Christian denominations, business leaders and government officials. This role offers a unique challenge for a highly accomplished leader who is progressive, innovative and has a creative flair that will enable BSA to be positioned to effectively engage the next generation of Australians and share the Bible through an accessible medium.
