An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Philanthropy Officer to join the Executive leadership team of this faith-based organisation reporting to the CEO. You will be responsible for driving the growth agenda with a key mandate of diversifying and increasing revenue derived from fundraising and community initiatives. Leading the Fundraising, Marketing and Communication teams, you will be critical to ensuring Opportunity achieves its mission.
As Chief Philantropy Officer you will be accountable for:
- Developing and implementing a fundraising strategy
- Developing integrated marketing initiatives across all platforms of engagement with the public, corporate partners and the philanthropic sector
- Building and raising the brand profile, and
- Relationship management with key stakeholders.
To be successful you will have:
- Proven senior leadership experience in a role with significant responsibiliy
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering diverse revenue streams through philanthropy and fundraising, or delivering successful business development
- Strong marketing and communication expertise evidenced by a track record of enhancing brand profile and reputation
- Proven background in developing high performance teams with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Exemplary relationship management and communication skills
- A passion for delivering excellence in customer service
- A proactive, results driven, strategic approach
- Resilience and flexibility, and
