United Bible Societies (UBS) is a global organisation, serving a Fellowship of 148 Bible Societies working in more than 200 countries and territories. The UBS China Partnership team leads, manages and coordinates our Bible Ministry partnerships in China on behalf of the Fellowship.
Due to the planned retirement of our current Director, we are looking for a talented individual (full-time) to:
● Direct the development and implementation of our strategic plans;
● Develop and build our partnership ministry in China; and
● Provide leadership and direction to the China Partnership Team.

Pivotal in continuing to manage our positive relationship and partnership with the church and other partners in China, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to continue to build on our close working relationship with the authorities.
Your passion for ministry work in China and understanding of the culture and context of our work in China will be evident, as will be your extensive senior management experience in leading people and projects. Fluent in English and Chinese, you will be comfortable working in a multicultural, Christian organisation where you can learn and grow while demonstrating your relationship building skills.
You will be joining a dynamic, motivated and passionate team, who will look to you to support and encourage them as they work on diverse and challenging global projects.
Due to the nature of the position, there will be a need to regularly be available at the China Partnership Hub and make frequent trips to different parts of China.
