SYNERGY is the youth ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. The Director oversees and supports youth and children’s work across the diocese. The current Director is moving to a part-time position, and the board wishes to employ a new Director from early 2019.

The essential requirements for the role are a passion for developing Christian faith in young people and the understanding and experience to do that in the Synergy context.
There are four key areas of responsibility:
Leadership
youth initiatives across the diocese, advocacy for youth, presentations and preaching
Training and Development
of volunteers in churches and camps
Management
of people, finances and data
Communication
ensuring a strong profile for Synergy through personal relationships, electronic media and public forums.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence and guide the Christian life of the next generation in a vibrant, diverse diocese committed to proclaiming Christ effectively in the twenty-first century world. There is a strong support base for Synergy across the diocese to help it meet the challenge of its mission.
