This position will play the key role in providing fundraising, marketing and communications within a small team. It will contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices and, via the National Director, interact with the Board. Apply if you:

Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising/marketing/management – deliver campaigns to drive financial growth and supporter engagement
- Manage and deliver direct marketing, digital, social media, data, audience targeting and segmentation
- Analyse and understand data efficiently and accurately to inform effective decision making
- Anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and take a proactive approach to project management
- Develop new ways to engage supporters and attract them to the great programs and activities taking place overseas
- Apply your knowledge of fundraising best practice to write, edit and review communications
Level of Responsibility
- Providing fundraising, marketing and communications within a small team
- You will contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices and, via the National Director, interact with the Board
- Responsible for annual planning together with ND for budget and staff to achieve supporter development strategy
- Decision-making within agreed parameters, and expenditure up to agreed budget.
- Expected to operate with high level of autonomy but as part of leadership team
- Act as necessary in the ND role when directed
Essential Requirements
Delivery of effective, engaging communications
- Experience in end-to-end delivery of scheduled communications
- Demonstrated ability in planning and writing direct response communications (fundraising, name acquisition drives, etc.) and other marketing collateral
- Evidence of analysis of completed marketing activity and use of previous campaign findings to shape the content of future direct response communication
- Experience in managing web content, developing digital communities and incorporating digital channels into planned marketing activity
- Demonstrated ability in leading and mentoring other team members to create the most appropriate communications and content
Skilled relationship-builder and door opener
- Experience in coordinating paid and contra arrangements to promote organisations to relevant audience groups
- Ability to broker sponsorship partnerships at relevant events (conferences, seminars etc.)
- Evidence of working within teams to create appropriate speaking opportunities to relevant audience groups
Comfortable with budget setting and management
- Experience in annual budgeting and planning processes
- Ability to develop and manage annual fundraising/marketing/communication budget
Data-driven fundraising
- Previous fundraising/marketing/management experience – ability to deliver campaigns to drive financial growth and supporter engagement
- A sound understanding of direct marketing, digital, social media, data, audience targeting and segmentation
- The ability to analyse and understand data efficiently and accurately to inform effective decision-making
- Experience in developing, maintaining and monitoring fundraising and accounting systems and procedures, and implementing improvements to systems as necessary
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a fundraising or NFP marketing role; relevant tertiary qualifications (degree or equivalent i.e. prior learning or formal qualifications) – marketing, fundraising, communications, management, or similar highly regarded
Other
- Experience in working with not-for-profit organisations, mission, direct marketing
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and take a proactive approach to project management
- Strong written (in various forms), interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills and ability to adapt and continually learn
- Heart for mission and the aims, values and purposes of FEBC
- Demonstrated experience in leading others
- Active Christian faith and participation in a worshipping Christian community
- Eligibility to work in Australia
