About Scripture Union Queensland
Scripture Union Queensland is a Christian not-for-profit with a heart for youth and children. We are the largest provider of school chaplains in Australia, and each chaplain is uniquely placed to support our children and young people as they navigate life’s increasingly complex issues. We run camps, community outreach events and At-Risk Youth programs, and offer nationally recognised training programs in youth work at both Certificate IV and Diploma levels.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate Fundraising Coordinator with previous strategic fundraising expertise and experience.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you will assist the team manager with the implementation of SU QLD’s fundraising strategies and initiatives. You will be responsible for developing donors in specified segments and nurturing those donors up the donor pyramid. The Fundraising Coordinator will organize fundraising activities within specified segments to reach revenue targets while ensuring that it is a supported and positive experience for the supporter.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High level of customer service and communications skills
- Minimum 3 years’ fundraising and partnership experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Demonstrated experience in assisting the development of the fundraising strategy creation and implementation
- Demonstrated hands-on experience and proven ability to grow and develop long term and long-lasting relationships with donors
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills and abilities
- Experience in communicating in a range of settings to a wide variety of people
- CFRE or FIA Certificate of Fundraising or Degree qualified in business, fundraising or marketing related disciplines preferred
