Bible Society Australia (BSA) is providing this opportunity to a person who is passionate about engaging and connecting Indigenous Australians with the work of BSA and our mission of sharing the love of Jesus.  We are seeking a full-time Indigenous Audio Project Coordinator to join our East Coast (Sydney & Brisbane) team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

This important role will be responsible for the development of Simplified English Bible Audio Recordings using key Aboriginal leaders from around the country. Delivery of Recording workshops nationally within budget and timeframe is also a key function of this role. Establishing a contact network of key Indigenous leaders in remote, rural and urban settings will be required to establish stronger partnerships between BSA and Indigenous organisations and communities.

• Experience and demonstrated ability and desire to operate effectively in cross-cultural settings
• Experience within Church ministry environments
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, demonstrably used with remote stakeholders
• Superior communication, influencing and relationship building skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage budgets
• Organised approach to planning, prioritising and time management
• Basic computer proficiency in office programs and use of social media applications
