Bible Society Australia (BSA) is seeking an experienced client focused IT Support Officer to join our busy Sydney CBD office. This is an exciting 6-month contract (full time hours) opportunity to support BSA’s operations nationally. This role requires providing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support that meets and exceeds agreed timeframes and service standards.
We are seeking an IT professional with excellent technical aptitude who has the ability to solve problems efficiently, positively engage with and clearly communicate solutions to staff and possess an enthusiasm to learn.

Role Specifics
As the first point of contact in the IT team, the key responsibilities include:
- Providing IT support for staff nationally
- Managing and maintaining core IT applications and services (Active Directory, Office 365 and G-Suite)
- Provisioning and configuring staff equipment including computers, printers, telephones and mobile devices
- Providing proactive assistance and advice to end-users for office 365 and SharePoint
- Assisting in creating effective IT procedures and documentation
- Assisting with project work as required
Key Criteria
To be considered for this role it is essential the following criteria is met:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in desktop and application support
- Formal qualifications in ICT
- Experience with Microsoft Windows PC’s and Apple Mac’s, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Servers (Physical and Virtual), General Networking (Switches, Routers and Wireless Access Points), mail servers (Exchange), Office 365
- Experience with SharePoint will be highly regarded
- Good communications skills with a positive and friendly attitude
- Well organised with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn new skills with solid attention to detail
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
