The Centre for Public Christianity (CPX) is a not-for-profit media company that offers a Christian perspective on contemporary life. We seek to promote the public understanding of the Christian faith by engaging mainstream media and the general public with high quality well-researched print, video and audio material about the relevance of Christianity in the 21st century.
This vibrant and cutting-edge team are seeking an organised and innovative person that can deliver our weekly podcast Life + Faith. This rewarding role will allow you the opportunity to promote the truth, beauty and goodness of the Christian story through this engaging digital platform. The success of this role will be measured in the number of episodes produced and the audience growth.

Role Specifics:
- Planning content for the podcast in collaboration with the editorial team and presenters
- Assisting in research and interviews
- Assisting in the development and implementation of a digital marketing plan for the podcast
- Overseeing all aspects of production, including scripting, scheduling, recording, editing and distribution
- Contributing to other CPX digital projects when required
Key Criteria:
- Journalism qualifications preferred, but not essential if a suitable portfolio of work is available
- Demonstrated radio/podcast production experience
- Ability to write short scripts, hands-on experience in audio recording interviews is desirable
- Proven organisational, time-management and planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and contribute effectively in a creative team
- Working knowledge of Adobe Audition or similar digital audio software is beneficial
CPX Offers:
- Flexible Part Time role (20 hours worked over 3-5 days, as negotiated)
- Initial 12-month contract
