Flo Harris Lodge (FHL) is located at Lewisham in Sydney’s Inner West.

It is a ministry of Petersham Baptist Church, and provides accommodation and community for 50 young men and women studying or working in Sydney.

The Residential Chaplains play a vital role

in making FHL a vibrant, connected and gracious community.

They do this by:

• offering pastoral care and support to all residents;
• encouraging community through informal interaction and organising events;
• enabling non-Christian residents to hear the Gospel and explore faith-related questions;
• equipping Christian residents to better know and follow Jesus; and
• assisting the Managers in the day-to-day running of the Lodge.

The role is for 40 hours per week. We are seeking a married couple to share these hours and the responsibilities of the position. The role would particularly suit a couple considering future pastoral ministry.   

A remuneration package is provided in the form of a paid salary + living expenses (accommodation, food, electricity, phone, internet, etc.).
