With degrees in journalism and theology, Stephen McAlpine writes regularly, especially about being a Christian in Western society.

His book, Being the Bad Guys: How To Live For Jesus In a World That Says You Shouldn’t, won SparkLit’s 2021 Australian Christian Book of the Year award.

Stephen has also pastored several churches in his home state of Western Australia, and worked with City Bible Forum and City to City Australia.
