Pastor Wayne Alcorn has spent two decades with Youth Alive Australia, two decades as senior pastor of the multi-campus Hope Centre and a decade as national president of the Australian Christian Churches movement.

Earlier this year, Alcorn published My Father’s Son: a Generational Journey with Acorn Press. The book is an unusually vulnerable and insightful reflection on what he calls the ‘father wound’: the longing of countless men for the love they didn’t receive from their father – a gap that can only be filled by the loving God who says, ‘call me dad’.
